Subject: Thank you

Hello,

I just wanted to let you know that I was recently aboard the Peace as part of a charter group, and greatly enjoyed my stay.  I was on the recent Channel Islands trip with Bob's Dive Shop.  This was my first scuba diving trip outside of my open water certification, and my first boat dive, so I didn't know what to expect.  However, by the end of the trip, the crew had made me feel like family, I'd had some great dives (and great food!), and I was looking forward to the next trip.  It was the crew that really made this trip such a success, in my opinion.  They were knowledgeable about the dive spots, friendly, and easy-going (and did I mention that the food was great?)

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that you have a great crew and a nice boat, and it was a pleasure diving with you.

Comments about 1/22 boat to Anacapa

Hello,

I would like to take a moment to comment on the Saturday, 1/22 trip to Anacapa.  This was my first time on your boat.  I was quite impressed by the service and professionalism of the staff on the Peace Dive boat.  The cook was very good and she kept us all well fed throughout the day.  We really appreciated the quality of the food provided, your menu was nutritious and tasty.  The cook was constantly refilling anything that went low and was very nice.  The dive master and crew were very kind and helpful as well.  We will definitely be on more of your trips in the future.

Subject: an awesome experience

I just wanted to write an email expressing my gratitude to everyone
affiliated with the Peace. I was part of the Michigan crew that went out
with the Optiquatics tour November 4.

I had a fantastic three days of my life while on the boat and I have
everyone on the crew to thank for it. Your personalities are awesome, so
much fun but also professional. The food was great, the help was great, and
the knowledge of everyone is unmatched. I could not stop smiling the whole
time. You guys rock!

Based on our pleasant experience, we already began putting another trip in
the works for next year. There is no doubt who we will be dealing with on
our next adventure through the underwater forest. What a cool trip!

Thanks again everyone for making this trip to California phenomonal!!!It was
like a homecoming to me (I learned to dive in California)and I loved every
minute of it.

Eric,
Just wanted to thank you and crew for two great dive trips (Sept '04
free-dive and Oct '04 lobster). Always lots of fun. Everyone's hard work and
effort to run a first class dive boat really shows. Keep up the good work.
Hope to see you soon.

Thanks again, Woody

Eric Bowman, Eric , Speaking for Dennis Hammer and myself John Stolp We want
to extend compliments to the boat crew and especially to Captain Kevin for a
trip well done. This is not the first time Kevin has gone above the call of
duty to accommodate the chartered guests. For example, Dennis and were only
able to book a trip last year thru a shop in Reno. When we stowed our gear
on the Peace, to our dismay , we found out that is was a photo trip
primarily. However Kevin after discovering 4 bug hunters among the photo
guys kept everybody happy. The weather did not cooperate as we had to hide
out at Yellow Banks the whole time. We had a great trip then and an even
greater trip this time. Again thanks to the crew of the Peace and thanks to
you for a measure of excellence in your operations. John Stolp and
Dennis Hammer

Owner and Operator
Peace
Eric:
At least four reasons why I would strongly urge divers to chose PEACE for
their next dive boat to the Channel Islands:
(1) When you forget a necessary piece of equipment like a weight belt, the
crew scrounges around and finds one for you to use that was left by a
previous diver.
(2) When you make incomplete adjustments to that same weight belt, have it
slip off your hips at 70 feet, grab it, surface and yell for help, the crew
is there to take the belt off your hands and help you board.
(3) When you show signs of fatigue and think you can make that fourth dive
against a strong current, they advise you that you should not make that dive.
(4) When you find yourself down current at the bow after a dive and you are a
little tired, they are their to throw you a tube to assist you to the stern.
The above reasons are added to the great, better than home, cooking, the help
with your equipment, the supplying you with O-rings for your regulator and
the filling of your tank even before you place your ring tag on your tank.
Finally in closing, to be more specific as to the trip that I took to be able
to make these comments, your decision to take the 26 SAN FRANCISCO REEF
DIVERS to Catalina where the diving was terrific even though you had to go
another 20 or 30 miles beyond what the trip called for should be reason
enough for making PEACE your next trip to Santa Cruz Island Anacapa or
whatever.
Sincerely,
Dick Dannells

Dear Eric, Crew,

Just a short thank you note to say what a great time we had diving with you. It all started with my wife and I having a difficult time getting from Northern California (Eureka) down to Southern
California via United with much difficulty. We were concerned about a short cancellation policy and being charged for a trip we couln't take due to the airlines incompetence. Cindy, you were great, you understood our predicament, and assured us that what ever hapend, that we could work it out.
Well, we hung with it, and after a day of airport hell, we made the boat by midnight. And, it was well worth it!! Wednesday, San Miguel!.
It was not ideal conditions, but as Eric said, "Your supposed to be advanced divers, so let's not let the conditions ruin the fun" Well, compared to SFO the day before this was paradise to me and Debbie, and I'll go out on a limb and say that it sure seemed that way to everyone on board. Four dives in some not so great conditions, but a great day just the same. A special thanks to the crew for keeping it upbeat and positive when we hit the deck at 6 AM with the adverse conditions.
Thursday, Anacapa. Kirk called it for us when he said, after San Miguel on Wednesday, Anacapa will seem like the tropics. Okay, it wasn't Cozemel, but it was certainly a huge contrast to the day before. Another great day with a new group of people. Three fun dives, good food and good
company!( I find that divers almost always are ) The thing that impressed me most about the Peace was that the people involved, meaning owners Cindy and Eric and everyone employed,
were there because they enjoyed what they were doing. I want to say profesional, but it was more like there was a passion for what they do, as apposed to a purpose. And, I like that!!
A special thanks to the deck crew, Ali (hope you have fun in New York and congradulations), Kirk (your smile is one in a million), and Bob ( I get the feeling that you are happiest when you are around anything remotely connected to diving ) You all helped to make a great trip. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the galley and the fine meals that were created there. Believe me it was well appreciated! Once again, Cindy and Eric, thanks for a good time. keep up the tradition, and you
will always have a full boat!

Until Next Time,

Debra Vosevich and Thomas Keller
